How does publication support work?
At Help Me Bro, you share your document and goal, we agree on scope, and you receive comments and coaching that you act on yourself. Each step ends with a decision that belongs to you.
- Share your document and goal. Send your draft, the target journal or publisher if you have one, and your deadline. Deliverable: a quote. Approval gate: you confirm scope and turnaround before work begins.
- Receive comments and coaching. Deliverable: your document returned with feedback, or a live session. Approval gate: you choose what to act on.
- Revise and submit as the author. Deliverable: your own revised manuscript or reply. Approval gate: you submit under your name and disclose help as the journal requires.
See each stage on the how it works page.

What is publication support?
Publication support is editing and coaching that helps you prepare your own research for publication. At Help Me Bro, that means feedback on your manuscript, guidance on choosing a journal, feedback on submission documents and reviewer replies, and coaching on book projects. We guide you, and you remain the author. See how it works for the steps.
Will you ghost-write my paper?
No. Help Me Bro does not write, finish, rewrite or ghost-write any paper, chapter or letter for submission. We give comments and feedback on work you wrote, and you make every edit. If a request would produce work for submission, we decline and offer feedback on your own draft instead. Read our academic integrity page.
Who is the author of my paper?
You are. Authorship follows the criteria set by the ICMJE, which look at substantial contribution to the work, drafting or revising it, final approval and accountability. Editing feedback does not make Help Me Bro an author. Check your target journal’s policy on acknowledging editorial help.
Does publication support guarantee acceptance?
No. Journals and their reviewers make the decision, so Help Me Bro cannot promise acceptance, a faster review or any outcome. We help you present your work clearly, choose journals thoughtfully and answer reviewers with your own reasoning. Read our guide to revise and resubmit to see how that stage works.
How do I avoid predatory journals?
Check who runs the journal, how it handles peer review and what it charges before you submit. Publication ethics guidance from COPE is a useful starting point. Help Me Bro’s journal selection coaching can help you compare options, and our guide on predatory journals lists warning signs.

Can you help me respond to reviewer comments?
Yes. Help Me Bro gives feedback on the reply you draft, checks that every point is addressed and flags tone problems. You decide what to change in the manuscript and what to defend. See our response to reviewers service.
Do you edit engineering or medical papers?
No. Engineering and medical or health-science editing are outside Help Me Bro’s current scope, and we will say so honestly in your quote. Send your abstract with your quote request so we can confirm fit before you pay.
