Who these terms are with
Help Me Bro (helpmebro.org) is run by Ahsan Irfan, who is the only person who works on client files. When these terms say “I” or “Help Me Bro,” they mean him. By sending a quote request or paying for an order, you agree to the terms on this page. If something here does not work for you, please say so before you approve a quote.

What the service is
Help Me Bro gives feedback on work you wrote yourself. That feedback comes as margin comments and tracked changes in Word, and, where it fits, as coaching on how to strengthen your draft. You read the notes, decide what to do with each one, and make every change yourself.
I do not write for clients. I do not draft, rewrite or ghost-write any part of your paper, and I do not help text get past AI or plagiarism detectors. I edit personally and use no AI tools on client files.
I work on papers in every field except engineering and medical or health-science work. Those fall outside what I take on, and I will tell you so plainly when you ask for a quote.

Quotes and pricing
Every order starts with a quote. Send your word count, deadline and file through the quote form. I review what you sent and reply with a price and turnaround.
Editing is priced per 1,000 words, and the rate depends on how fast you need the file back:
- 24-hour turnaround: $25 per 1,000 words
- 48-hour turnaround: $15 per 1,000 words
- 72-hour turnaround: $10 per 1,000 words
Live sessions, such as calls, are quoted after we agree on the scope. There is no standard hourly rate.
Work begins only after you have approved the quote. Until then, nothing is started and nothing is owed. The pricing page has the same rates in one place.
What you are responsible for
- The work is yours. You wrote the draft you send, and you remain its author from start to finish.
- Your institution’s rules. Schools, journals and programs differ on what outside feedback is allowed. Checking those rules, and following them, is your job. If you are unsure, ask your instructor, advisor or editor before you send a file.
- Every change is yours to make. Comments and tracked changes are suggestions. You choose what to accept, adapt or ignore, and you are responsible for the final version you submit.
- Accurate details. Please give me a correct word count and deadline so the quote fits the file.
Confidentiality
Your files are read only by me and are not shared with anyone else. The privacy page explains what information I collect and how it is handled.
Refunds
Help Me Bro has one refund rule, and it works like this:
- If you receive a grade of C on the work I edited, I refund 50% of the fee.
- If the work receives a failing grade, I refund the full fee.
You need to provide proof of the grade. No other refund is promised. That means no satisfaction guarantee, no refunds based on deadlines, and no partial refunds for other reasons. The details are on the refunds page.
No guarantee of outcomes
Careful feedback can help a draft, but it cannot decide how someone else will judge it. I do not guarantee any grade, acceptance, publication or funding result. The refund rule above is the only promise tied to a grade.
Limits on liability
If something goes wrong with an order, my responsibility to you is limited to the fee you paid for that order. I am not responsible for other losses, such as missed opportunities, decisions your school or a journal makes, or problems that come from how you use the feedback.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you approve a quote is the one that applies to that order.

Does Help Me Bro ever write or rewrite parts of my paper?
No. Help Me Bro gives comments and tracked changes on work you wrote yourself. I do not draft, rewrite or ghost-write anything for clients. You read each note and make every change in your own words, and you stay the author of the paper from start to finish.
When does work on my order begin?

What happens if I receive a C or a failing grade?
If you receive a C on the work I edited, 50% of the fee is refunded. If it receives a failing grade, the full fee is refunded. You need to provide proof of the grade. No other refund is promised, and the refunds page explains the rule in full.
Can I use Help Me Bro for engineering or medical papers?
No. I take papers in every field except engineering and medical or health sciences. If you send a request in one of those areas, I will tell you at the quote stage that it is outside what I work on, so you can look elsewhere without losing time.
Who sees my files?
