Model Essay Use Policy | Help Me Bro

What a model essay is

A model essay on Help Me Bro is a finished essay on a general topic that I choose myself. I publish it openly, and every reader sees exactly the same text. It exists so you can look at how an argument is built, how paragraphs connect and how sources are cited.

A model essay is not made for you. It is never written, adapted or personalized for any reader’s assignment prompt, rubric, course, school, word count or deadline. If an essay in the library happens to resemble your topic, that is coincidence, not tailoring.

Can I submit a model essay?

No. Model essays must not be submitted in whole or in part, under your name or anyone else’s. That includes a single paragraph, a reworded version, or an outline copied from one. They are study material and nothing more.

The library is at Model Essays, and a good place to see the format in practice is the argumentative essay examples.

How to learn from a model essay

Reading an essay passively teaches very little. Try working with it instead:

  1. Find the claim. Write down the thesis in your own words before you read the second paragraph.
  2. Map the structure. Note what each paragraph is doing: introducing evidence, answering an objection, moving to a new point.
  3. Look at the transitions. Notice how one paragraph hands off to the next, and where the logic feels thin.
  4. Check the sourcing. See how a source is introduced, how a quotation is framed and how a citation sits in the sentence.
  5. Disagree with it. Jot down where you would argue differently, then close the page.
  6. Write from your own ideas. Start your draft from your assignment, your reading and your own thinking, not from the model.

What you may not do

  • Submit a model essay, or any part of it, as your own work.
  • Paste, paraphrase or lightly reword its sentences into your draft.
  • Ask Help Me Bro to adapt a library essay to your prompt, course or deadline. That is not offered.
  • Ask for a model essay to be written for a particular assignment.
  • Use a model essay to try to get around plagiarism or AI-detection checks. I do not help with that.

How to cite a model essay if you quote it for study

If you discuss a model essay in a study group, a writing-skills exercise or a reflection on essay structure, and you quote or refer to it, cite it like any other web source. Follow the citation style your instructor requires. For APA, the APA Style guidance on webpage references shows the format. Name Help Me Bro as the site, give the essay title and link to the page you read.

Citing a model essay does not make it acceptable to submit. It only means you are being honest about where a quoted passage came from.

Your school’s policy still applies

Whatever this page says, your school, instructor or program sets the rules for your coursework. Some courses restrict outside reference material even for study. If you are unsure, ask your instructor before you rely on any outside example. My own position on honest use is set out on the academic integrity page, and the terms that govern the site are on the terms page.

Can I hand in a model essay if I change the wording?

No. Changing the wording does not change the fact that the ideas, structure and sentences are not yours. Model essays must not be submitted in whole or in part, however much they are reworded. They are there to show you how an essay is built so you can write your own from scratch.

Will you tailor a library essay to my assignment prompt?

No. Library essays are written on general topics I choose and are the same for every reader. I never write, adapt or personalize them to a prompt, rubric, course, school, word count or deadline. If you have a draft of your own, feedback on that draft is the service I offer.

Is it acceptable to quote a model essay in my own paper?

Only if your instructor allows outside sources for that assignment, and then you must cite it like any web source in the style your course requires. Quoting is different from borrowing structure or wording without credit. When in doubt, ask your instructor before using it.

Does Help Me Bro use AI to write or check essays?

No. Ahsan Irfan uses no AI tools, and I do not help text pass AI-detection or plagiarism checks. Feedback comes from a person reading your draft and leaving comments and mechanical tracked changes. You make every revision yourself and remain the author.

What should I send if I want feedback on my own essay?

Use the quote form and share your word count, your deadline and your draft file. I will confirm whether the paper is in scope and what the price and turnaround would be. Engineering and medical or health-science papers are declined at that stage.

What essay feedback includes, and what it does not

The paid service connected to essays is feedback on an essay you wrote yourself. I read your draft and respond with margin comments and Word tracked changes. You then decide what to do with each one.

Included

  • Comments on argument, structure, clarity and evidence, usually as questions that point you toward the problem.
  • Mechanical tracked changes only: punctuation, citation format, a missing word.
  • Notes you can ask about if a comment is unclear.

Not included

  • Writing, rewriting or drafting any part of your essay.
  • Replacing your sentences with mine.
  • Any help passing AI or plagiarism detectors. I use no AI tools on client work.
  • Promises about a grade, admission, scholarship or publication.
  • Engineering and medical or health-science papers, which I decline at the quote stage.

Pricing is on the pricing page, and you can request a quote through Get a Quote. The refund rule for graded work is on the refunds page.
